Place a bet, get dealt a hand of five cards, choose which (if any) cards to hold, and draw a new hand. Below are winning hands and their payout for bets. If you get bored, click Cheat to alter your hand, see the frequencies and average payouts of every possible move before you bet, get hints, and run the game in autopilot mode. Cheaters, though, are ineligible for high scores.
At the conclusion of each turn, click to see descriptive statistics related to the hand you played, and the Odds tab to see likelihoods of every possible outcome.
Efficiency: The percentage of the total expected payouts of your moves relative to the expected payouts of the best possible moves (100% if you gamble perfectly).
Luck: Computed from the quality of the dealt hands to the average hand. More technically, it is the average standard score of the optimal expected payout of the cards dealt, log-adjusted to correct the positive skewness of the payouts' probability distribution.
Score: Gambling efficiency × maximum purse
